How much should I spend on a changing table?

There are a few factors to consider when it comes to changing tables. The most crucial factor is the size of the changing table. If your baby spends much time at the changing table, you’ll want to invest in a larger table.

On the other hand, if your baby won’t use the table that often, you can save money by choosing a smaller one.

Another important consideration is the type of changing table you buy. There are three main types of changing tables: elevated, freestanding, and wall-mounted. Each has its advantages and disadvantages.

Formal tables are best for babies who will spend a lot of time sitting up high at the table. Freestanding tables are great for families with limited space because they can be placed anywhere in the room.

Wall-mounted tables are perfect for families with more freedom because they can be easily stored when not in use.

Finally, you’ll need to decide what kind of fabric your changing table will be made out of. Polyester is generally cheaper than cotton, but it’s not as durable. If you use your table often, investing in a more durable fabric may be worth it.

Do you need a changing table?

When you’re expecting, it’s easy to convince yourself that you’ll need a changing table in your room. But soon enough, you’ll realize this isn’t always the case.

A changing table can come in handy for many reasons- from helping your baby adjust to their new environment to preventing them from rolling off the bed during their first months.

Here are four reasons you should invest in a changing table:

It Can Help Your Baby Adjust To Their New Environment

One of the most significant benefits of having a changing table is that it can help your baby adjust to their new environment. Babies learn best when new stimuli constantly surround them, and a changing table allows them to explore their surroundings while learning how to use their new bodies.

Plus, a good changing table will have plenty of toys and other activities your baby can enjoy while waiting for their mom or dad to get ready.

It Can Help Prevent Your Baby From Rolling Off Of The Bed

A changing table can also help prevent your baby from rolling off the bed during their early months. While most babies eventually learn how to roll over, some may not do so successfully until after they’ve been on the floor for some time.

You can help them stay safe and comfortable throughout their early development by providing them access to a changing table.

It Can Save You Time And Money

A good change table can also save you time and money in the long run. Not only will it help your baby adjust to their new surroundings, but it can also prevent them from rolling off the bed- which means fewer doctor visits and less wear and tear on your floor.

It Can Help You Save On Baby Gear

Lastly, a good change table can help you save on baby gear. By providing your baby with a space to rest and play, you’ll free up some space in your nursery for other items that may need more attention.

Plus, purchasing a changing table often includes toys and other accessories your baby can enjoy. So if you’re looking for ways to economize while raising your child, a changing table may be just what you need.

1). Open your Graco Classic Pack and Play changing table package and take out the top piece of furniture – the bench seat unit. This will be your work area. You will also need to remove two screws at each end of the bench seat unit (see photo below).

Samantha Russell
My name is Samantha, and I'm a young mother. For the past five years, I have been working at a local kindergarten as a Toddler Group teacher (children between the age of 6 months and to 2 years). This job can be pretty messy, and you must change diapers daily. Despite this only drawback, I love it as I love children. Using baby furniture and supplies has become a part of my life. While pregnant with my son, I started looking for possible baby stuff online a few years ago. However, as I discovered, it's not as easy as it seems at first sight. Therefore, I decided to help other new moms and dads with my acquired personal and professional experience.
